How to Connect
Step 1: Click Connect Wallet
Look for the Connect Wallet button in the top navigation bar and click it.
Step 2: Choose Your Network
A modal will appear with two options:
EVM Wallets
Best for: ETH, ARB, MATIC holders
Access to: MetaMask, Coinbase, WalletConnect, and more
Solana Wallets
Best for: SOL holders, native Solana users
Access to: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and more
Step 3: Select Your Wallet
After choosing a network:
For EVM: The RainbowKit modal opens with wallet options
For Solana: The Solana wallet modal opens with wallet options
Click on your preferred wallet.
Step 4: Approve the Connection
Your wallet will prompt you to:
Approve the connection - Allow SolMarkets to see your address
Sign a message - Verify you own the wallet (no gas fees)
Step 5: Done!
Once connected, you'll see:
Your wallet address in the navigation bar
Your balance (initially $0)
Access to all platform features
Switching Wallets
To connect a different wallet:
Click on your wallet address in the navigation bar
Select Disconnect
Click Connect Wallet again
Choose your new wallet
Troubleshooting
Wallet Not Showing Up
EVM: Make sure your browser extension is installed and unlocked
Solana: Ensure your wallet app/extension is active
Connection Failed
Refresh the page
Make sure you're on the correct network
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet
Clear your browser cache if issues persist
Wrong Network
SolMarkets works across multiple networks. If you're having issues:
For deposits, you can use any supported chain
Your balance is network-agnostic (stored in USDC on our platform)
Mobile Wallets
Using a mobile wallet? You can:
Use WalletConnect to scan a QR code
Open the SolMarkets website in your wallet's built-in browser
Use deep links if supported by your wallet
Security Reminders
Only sign messages - Never sign transactions you don't understand
Check the domain - Always verify you're on the official SolMarkets site
Revoke permissions - Periodically review connected sites in your wallet
